NIR spectroscopy can be used to provide critical information on
wheat crop health and growth in the field. Measurements taken of a
wheat canopy during different growth stages can reveal data on
protein, lignin, cellulose, water, sugar, starch, chlorophyll content
and more.

Using a
PSR-1100f in the field, a researcher can gain in formation for
wheat trait selection, estimation of crop yield, crop stress, and
identification and control of crop pests.

An NIR agricultural spectroradiometer provides fast, easy-to-use and
non-destructive methods for characterizing wheat samples. A
researcher can analyze the spectra data collected to:
