The ILM-550 Light Source for Spectral Evolution Spectroradiometers and Spectrometers Provides a Choice of Bulbs

Haverhill, MA – April 3, 2020 – The ILM-550 provides a tungsten halogen light source for use with SPECTRAL EVOLUTION spectrometers and

ILM-550

spectroradiometers. The ILM-550 features:

• A tungsten halogen light source
• Aluminum reflector and a diffuser for bright, uniform illumination for largersamples
• Usable with a choice of bulbs, including a high intensity spot source for smaller
samples
• Insulated handle, swivel mount base for easy positioning and mounting

Spectral Evolution offers the ILM-550 with a 50 watt capsule bulb used with the built in reflector and diffuser combination or an alternative 50 watt, reflector bulb with a high intensity spot. The ILM-550 accepts MR-16 bulbs and is rated up to 125 watts so users can select other bulbs of their choice, for example a 75 watt bulb or MR16 bulbs with a different spot size. This allows users to optimize the intensity and uniformity of
illumination for their sample and its measurement.
